PU 504 | 503 | 502 (Globe+) and 424 (Globe): New SEPA SCT and SDD file formats supported

Exact Globe+ has been supporting SCT 001.001.03 and SDD 008.001.02. However, these two versions will only be supported until November 2025.

In this product update, Exact Globe+ will also support the SCT 001.001.09 and SDD 008.001.08 file formats. This is applicable to all the SEPA EU payments and collections. We have added the PAIN.001.001.09 value at the SCT Export File Format field in the SEPA credit transfer section and PAIN.008.001.08 value at the SDD Export File Format field in the SEPA direct debit section under the Settings tab at Cash flow > Cash Instrument > Maintain. However, the default will still be PAIN001.001.03 and PAIN.008.001.02 respectively.


The new version of the SCT PAIN.001.001.09 file format will not be available for the countries below:

  • Italy
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Finland
  • Germany
  • Switzerland
  • United States
  • Great Britain
  • Sweden

The new version of the SDD PAIN.008.001.02 file format will not be available for the countries below:

  • Italy
  • Austria
  • Germany

SEPA SCT file

You will be able to see the changes below after you have generated the SEPA SCT file to the new version:

  • The SCT version will be changed to “pain.001.001.09”.


  • The <BtchBooking> and <InstrPrty> tags will not be available for ABN AMRO bank with country “NL”.



  • The <Dt> tag is added in the ReqdExctnDt section.


  • The <BIC> tag is renamed to <BICFI>.


  • The structured address format has been adopted because from 23rd November 2025 onwards, it is mandatory to use the structured address for the creditor address. “AdrLine” is renamed to “StrtNm” and the second “AdrLine” is no longer available. The “TwnNm” and “Ctry” tags are compulsory when you make a payment to both local and foreign countries.


SEPA SDD file

You will be able to see the changes below after you have generated the SEPA SDD file to the new version:

  • The SDD version will be changed to “pain.008.001.08”.


  • The <BtchBooking> tag will not be available for ABN AMRO bank with country “NL”.


  • The <AdrLine> tag will be replaced with the compulsory structured address <TwnNM> and <Ctry> tags.


  • The <BIC> tag is renamed to <BICFI>.


  • The <BICorBEI> tag is no longer available for the <Dbtr> section.
