Introduction

Apart from the system-defined function rights, you can also create function rights.

Roles and rights

To maintain function rights, function right 187 – Maintain roles in function ID's is required. By default, users with the Administrator or HR role have this function right.

Notes:

• For more details on roles, got to System à Setup à Security à Roles.

The information in this document is based on product update 249.

How do I create a function right?

1. On the System: Function rights page, click New.
2. On the System: Function page, define the relevant fields.
3. Click Save to save the settings or click Save + New to save the settings and create another function right.

   Keep in mind: All fields marked with the "!" icon are mandatory.
