How-to: Setting up of application pool for Social Collaboration
Introduction
Social Collaboration has been introduced in Exact Synergy
Enterprise since product update 259. However, to run Social Collaboration, the
website must be linked to an application pool with .NET CLR version 4.0, and the
“Integrated” managed pipeline mode.
Description
The system administrator can either create an application
pool with .NET CLR version 4.0, and the “Integrated” managed pipeline mode, or
choose from an existing application pool by changing the properties.
To update the existing application pool, or create an
application pool, do the following:
- Open Internet
Information Services (IIS) Manager.
- Select an
existing application pool, or create an application pool.
- Ensure .NET
CLR version 4.0 is selected at .NET CLR version, and Integrated is
selected at Managed pipeline mode.
- Ensure the
correct application pool is linked to the application (for every Exact Synergy
Enterprise website) in the advanced settings of the application.
- You will be able
to link, and view the properties of the application pool when the … icon is
clicked.
