Delivery notes are created when items or services in sales orders have been fulfilled. This screen displays the details of the sales transaction such as the name and address of the Ordered by, Delivery to, and Invoice to debtor, the sales order and fulfillment dates, the Our ref. (internal reference) and Your reference (customer’s reference) numbers, the sales order description, and the resource who was in charge of the sales order. These details are taken from the sales order that the delivery note belongs to and the information cannot be modified here.
Click this to view the sales order that the delivery note belongs to. For more information, see Creating and maintaining sales orders.
Click this to view the invoice of the sales order. For more information, see Creating and maintaining sales invoices.
Select this check box to group the lines by the item code.
Click this to view the text description filled in for the selected item in the box in the Text section in the Basics tab of the item maintenance (go to Invoice ➔ Items ➔ Maintain and select the relevant item).
Note: This button is enabled only when the selected item has a text description filled in.
Click this to view the delivery note before you can proceed to print it.
Click this to view the invoice of the selected item line. For more information, see Creating and maintaining sales invoices.
Click this to view the instructions filled in for the selected item in the Instruction column in the sales/service order line.
Note: This button is enabled when the item selected has instructions filled in.
Click this to view the attachment details of the delivery note. The Attachment screen will be displayed. Click Open to view the delivery note in htm format.
Click this to exit.
