Product Update 406: Description of depreciation can be manually defined (Vietnamese legislation)

When asset depreciation is processed, the description of the depreciation in the financial entries will always be “Depreciation” or translated based on the language settings. It is not possible to manually define the description. In this product update, the description of the depreciation can be manually defined for the Vietnamese legislation.

Once the budget depreciation records have been processed at Assets à Entries à Process or Assets à Assets à Maintain, and Yes is clicked in the Process screen, the description of the depreciation can be manually defined in the Depreciations: Entries screen. If the Description field is not defined, Depreciation will be displayed in the financial entries, asset card, and report.

The report will display the defined description.

The description will also be displayed in the general journal entry screen.

The description will be displayed in the Asset card screen.
