Adding or removing function rights for maintaining customers

Introduction
In this screen, you can add or remove the To maintain
customers function right to or from the selected people and roles.
What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product
update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features
explained here will not be applicable.
How do I view the Rights to maintain customers screen?
- Click Finance.
- Double
click Accounts receivable, and then click Maintain.
- The
list of users will be displayed.
- Click the Rights
to maintain customers icon on the right to add or remove the To maintain
customers function right.
Fields
View only section
This section will display people with the menu rights to
accounts receivable maintenance applications but without the To maintain
customers function right.
Edit/Maintain section
This section will display people with the administrator
role, people with the menu rights to accounts receivable maintenance
applications, and the To maintain customers function right.
Buttons
Close
Click this to exit.
Icons
Right to left icon
Click this to transfer the selected people from the Edit/Maintain
section to the View only section. Transferring people from the Edit/Maintain
section to the View only section will remove the To maintain
customers function right from the selected people and the people with the
selected roles.
In the screen that will be displayed upon selecting the
people, select the required roles so that the people selected earlier and the
people with the selected roles will be transferred together once you click Move.
Note: Since administrators need the necessary
function rights to perform their roles, you cannot transfer administrators from
Edit/Maintain section to the View only section.
Left to right icon
Click this to transfer the selected people from the View
only section to the Edit/Maintain section. Transferring people from
the View only section to the Edit/Maintain section will add To
maintain customers function right to the selected people and the people
with selected roles.
In the screen that will be displayed upon selection of the
required people, select the required roles so that the people selected earlier
and the people with the selected roles be transferred together once you click Move.
