Introduction

This page allows you to create and edit contract types.

Roles and rights

To view contract types, function right 862 – View service contract types is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, Service planner, or Service manager role have this function right.

To create and edit contract types, function right 882 – Maintain service contract types is required. Users with the Service manager role have this function right.

Notes:

• For more details on roles, go to System à Setup à Security à Roles.

The information in this document is based on product update 250.

How do I create contract types?

1. On the Service: Contract types page, click New.
2. Define the fields.
3. Click Save.

Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon are mandatory.

How do I delete contract types?

1. On the Service: Contract types page, type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select the required contract type under the Type column.
4. Click Delete. A message “Are you sure that you want to delete this record?” will be displayed.
5. Click OK.

How do I edit contract types?

1. On the Service: Contract types page, type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
2. Click Refresh.
3. Select the required contract type under the Type column.
4. Make the necessary change(s).
5. Click Save.
