This page allows you to create list layouts, or modify existing ones.
To create or modify list layouts, function right 282 – Maintain Layouts, division level is required. By default, users with the Documents administrator or Web administrator role have this function right.
Note:
The information in this document is applicable to product update 240 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Click this to save the layout.
Click this to save the layout and create another layout.
Note: This available only when you are creating a layout.
Click this to delete the list layout from the system.
Click this to display the Criteria section.
Click this to hide the Criteria section.
Click this to generate a preview of the list based on the current list layout settings.
Note: This available only when you are modifying an existing layout.
Click this to configure the language filter selection box inserted in the header of the generated list. This button is not available while defining a new list layout. For more information on the language filter selection, see Configuring language filter selection for list layouts.
Note: To configure the language filter for a new list, you must first save and reopen the list layout.
Click this to exit.
Type a unique code for this list layout. You can type up to 10 characters.
Note: This information cannot be changed when you are modifying an existing layout.
Type a description for this list layout. You can type up to 40 characters.
Type or select a document to insert this document as a header to this list.
You can also click Customize to create and modify the list header instead of using a document. If there is a document inserted as the header of this list, this button is not available.
Type a valid criteria statement to filter the generated list according to this statement. This section is available after clicking Advanced.
