Overview of problem codes for Service management

Introduction
This page allows you to view the list of problem codes created. Problem codes are used for guidance and analysis purposes for the service activity process.
Roles and rights
To view the problem codes, function right 859 – View service problem codes is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, Service planner, or Service manager role have this function right.
To edit, delete, or create problem codes, function right 879 – Maintain service problem codes is required. Users with the Service planner or Service manager role have this function right.
Notes:

The information in this document is based on product update 250.
How do I view problem codes?
- Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
- Click Refresh.
- Select the required problem code under the Code column.
How do I create problem codes?
- Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
- Click New. For more information, see Creating and maintaining problem codes for Service management.
How do I delete problem codes?
- Type or select a division at Division under the Criteria section.
- Click Refresh.
- Select the check box of the required problem code.
- Click Delete.
Keep in mind: The Delete button is available only if there is any problem code displayed in the overview.
Buttons
Refresh
Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.
New
Click this to create a problem code. For more information, see Creating and maintaining problem codes for Service management.
Delete
Click this to delete the selected problem code.
Note: This button is available only if there are problem codes displayed in the overview.
Close
Click this to exit.
Fields
Criteria section
Division
Type or select a division to view the problem codes for the selected division. By default, your division code will be displayed.
