Maintaining Item Releases
You can view the accounts receivable report by defining one or more of the following criteria
Introduction
This page allows you to convert item releases from version 1 to version 2, and others. You can also change the description of the item releases.
Menu path

Go to Logistics/Setup/General/Assortments, and then click the relevant link of the assortment in the Code or Description column. Under the Monitor section, click Releases, and then click Maintain.

Roles & rights
To promote and recode item releases, function right 17 - Maintain Item releases is required. Users with the Item management role has this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Buttons
Process
Click this to process the details of the item release.
Close
Click this to exit.
Description
Action section
Action
Select Promote to change the item releases (for example, to change from version 1 to version 2) or select Recode to change the description of the item release.
From
Type or select an existing item release to be promoted or recoded. This information is mandatory.
To
Type or select an item release to be promoted to (if Promote is selected at Action) or type a new description for the selected item release (if Recode is selected at Action). This information is mandatory.
Note: Once the From and To box are filled, a list of assortments will be displayed for selection.
