Introduction
This page lists the front page layouts available for use and maintenance.
Roles and rights
All users can access this page to view the front page layouts. However, to create or modify front page layouts, function right 255 – Maintain News Layout, corporate level is required. By default, users with the Documents administrator or Web administrator role have this function right.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product update 240 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I view the overview?
- On the page under the Criteria section, type or select a division code at Division.
- Define the rest of the fields.
- Click Show.
How do I create front page layouts?
- On the page, click New.
- At Code, type a code for the front page layout.
- Define the rest of the fields where necessary.
- Click Save.
Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon is mandatory.
How do I modify front page layouts?
- On the page under the Criteria section, type or select a division code at Division.
- Define the rest of the fields.
- Click Show.
- Click the hyperlink of the corresponding front page layout to be modified.
- Make the necessary changes.
- Click Save.
How do I delete front page layouts?
- On the page under the Criteria section, type or select a division code at Division.
- Define the rest of the fields.
- Click Show.
- Select the check boxes of the corresponding layouts to be deleted.
- Click Delete.
Buttons
Show
Click this to display the results according to the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Refresh
Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.
Reset
Click this to clear all the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
New
Click this to create a front page layout. For more information, see Creating and modifying frontpage layouts.
Note: This is available only if you have function right 255 – Maintain News Layout, corporate level.
Delete
Click this to delete the selected front page layouts.
Note: This is available only if you have clicked Show and if you have function right 255 – Maintain News Layout, corporate level.
Close
Click this to exit.
Fields
Criteria section
Division
Type or select the division code to display only layouts linked to the selected division. Once you have selected a division, you can view the details of the division by clicking the name of the division displayed next to the box. For more information, see Viewing division cards.
Layout
Type a full or partial name of the layout to list the layouts that match the description.
Description
Type a full or partial layout code to list the layouts that match the code.
Page size
Type a number to define the number of layouts to be displayed on a single page. You can type a number from 1 - 99999. Click Show to update the page size.
Note: This is available when a listing of layouts is displayed after you have clicked Show.
Columns
You can delete front page layouts by selecting the corresponding check boxes, and then click Delete.
Layout
This column displays the codes of the layouts. You can click the hyperlink to view the corresponding layout. For more information, see Creating and modifying frontpage layouts.
Description
This column displays the descriptions of the layouts.
Division
This column displays the division codes to which the layouts are linked.
