Introduction
In the Central Master Data Management (CMDM) system, it is essential to have a data conversion tool so that you can keep your multi-divisional records consistent in Exact Synergy Enterprise and Exact Globe.
Note: This menu path is available only if you have selected the license option YA0150 Central Master Data Management at System à Setup à License à Update. For more information, see Updating license.
Roles & rights
All users can activate the CMDM functions.

How do I activate CMDM functions?
- From the Central Master Data Management: Settings page, select the check box(es) corresponding to the function(s) that you want to activate. For example, if you want to activate the account function, select the Accounts check box.
- Click Save.
How do I deactivate CMDM functions?
- From the Central Master Data Management: Settings page, clear the check box(es) corresponding to the function(s) that you want to deactivate. For example, if you want to deactivate the account function, clear the Accounts check box.
- Click Save.
Buttons
Save
Click this to save the setting.
Close
Click this to exit.
Fields
Accounts
Select this check box to activate the CMDM account functions.
Free fields
Select this check box to synchronize the CMDM account free fields. This check box is enabled only if you have selected the Accounts check box. By default, this check box is disabled.
Items
Select this check box to activate the CMDM item functions.
Free fields
Select this check box to synchronize the CMDM item free fields. This check box is enabled only if you have selected the Items check box. By default, this check box is disabled.
General ledger
Select this check box to activate the CMDM general ledger functions.
People
Select this check box to activate the CMDM people functions.
