In Exact Globe, all contact persons are linked to various accounts.
The information in this document is based on product update 400. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Click this to search for contact persons based on the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Type the number of rows to be displayed for each page. If you have set the default number of rows to 50, then 50 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 50 rows listed, the Previous and Next buttons become available.
Click this to return to the previous page.
Click this to go to the next page.
Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type a full or partial last name of a contact person to search for this person.
Type the initials of a contact person to search for this person.
Type the middle name of a contact person to search for this person.
Type the first name of a contact person to search for this person.
Type the contact person's title to search for the relevant contact person(s).
Type a job description to search for the person(s) with jobs that match the job description.
Select the account type to view the contact person(s) of the selected account type. Select the Suspect, Lead, Prospect, Customer, Reseller, Supplier, Associate, and/or Employee check boxes. You may select more than one.
Select the status to view the contact person(s) of account(s) with the selected status. Select the Active, Passive, Pilot, Blocked, Reference, and/or Inactive check boxes. You may select more than one.
Select the Active and/or Inactive check box(es) to view the contact person(s) with the selected status.
Click this to correct the details of the selected contact person.
Click this to create an e-mail to send to the selected contact person using Microsoft Outlook.
Note: If the e-mail address of the contact person is not defined, the Contact persons window is displayed instead where you can type the e-mail address in the E-mail box and click next to it to create an e-mail to the contact person in Microsoft Outlook.
Click this to open the Contact persons window and view or edit the contact person's details.
Click this to create a mail merge document for printing or e-mailing using Microsoft Word to the selected contact person. For more information, see Overview: Word Merge.
Note: This button will be disabled if the UseCentralMasterDatabase setting (for Central Master Data Management) is enabled, or the Maintain master data centrally check box under the General settings in the Exact Synergy/Exact Synergy Enterprise section is selected.
Click this to view or modify the contact details in the Contact tab of the account linked to the contact person. If the contact person is an employee, the Maintain: Resources window of the resource is displayed instead.
Click this to exit.
