Introduction
This page allows you to create invoicing terms for a
project. Invoicing terms are specified conditions of payment for an invoice
based on the method an individual or company chooses to pay for a product or
service.
Note: Invoicing term requests can only be
created for projects of the Fixed price type.
Roles and rights
To view and create invoicing term request, function right 891 — Invoice hours and expenses is required. By default, users with the Project administration role have this function right.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is
applicable to product update 256 and higher. If you have versions lower than
this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I create invoicing term requests?
- On the Invoicing terms page, define the relevant
information under the columns, such as the invoice date of the request and
the amount to be invoiced.
- Click Create.
Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon are mandatory.
How do I search for existing invoicing term requests?
- On the Invoicing terms page, type the project ID at
Project to display the invoicing term requests to which the
project is linked.
- Click Show. The existing invoicing term requests will be displayed in the General section.
Keep in mind: Alternatively, you can search for invoicing term
requests for a particular project by going to the project card, and then clicking
Invoicing terms under the Execution column.
Buttons
Create
Click this to create the invoicing term requests based on the data filled under the columns.
Close
Click this to exit.
Show
Click this to display existing invoicing term requests in the General section based on the project and page size defined.
Fields
General section
Project
Type or select the project to display existing invoicing term requests to which the project is linked.
Currency
This displays the currency used. The currency used is the same as the currency specified for the account that this rate is created for. If the account does not have a currency defined, the currency specified at Modules ? Financial ? Setup ? General ? Settings will be used.
Page size
Type a number to define the number of existing invoicing term requests to be displayed on a single page. You can type a number from 1 - 99999. Click Show to display the results or update the page size.
Columns
Date
Type or select an invoice date for the request.
Deliverable
Type or select the deliverable to be linked to the request.
Note:
- The Deliverable column will only be displayed if the Use deliverables & WBS check box is selected on the selected project card of the respective project.
- If the project selected in the General section is of Fixed price type, all existing deliverables with any status will be available for selection.
- If the project selected in the General section is not of Fixed price type, only deliverables with the In progress status will be available for selection.
Project term
Type or select the item code to define the item to be linked to the request. Only items that meet the following criteria will be
available for selection under the Project term column:
- PSA assortment items with the Standard or Labour hour
type and have the Billable attribute.
- PSA assortment items that do not have the Billable attribute.
Amount
Type the amount to invoice for the request.
Description
Type a description for the request. This is mandatory.
Remarks
Type a remark for the request.
