Configuring purchase prices and price agreements for purchase orders by updating
Menu path
Go to Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration and click Update in the price agreement configuration screen.
Introduction
This screen allows you to update all the purchase prices and price agreements of the items.
Fields
You can update the price agreements by selecting the Purchase price, Unit, Date, and/or Discount check box(es), and clicking OK.
Purchase price
Select this check box to update the purchase price of the selected item(s).
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Unit check box is not selected.
New price
Select + to increase the purchase price (in amount or percentage) of the selected item(s), or select - to decrease the purchase price (in amount or percentage) of the selected item(s).
Type the percentage or amount of the purchase price to be updated for the selected item(s).
Select Percent to update the purchase price of the selected item(s) based on percentage, or Amount to update the purchase price of the selected item(s).
Note: The New price boxes are enabled only if the Purchase price check box is selected.
Unit (Check box)
Select this check box to update the units of the selected item(s).
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Purchase price check box is not selected. Also, this check box is available only if the Price agreements check box at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Type section is selected.
Unit
Type or select the unit of the selected item(s) to be updated. This is mandatory if the Unit check box is selected. Also, this box is enabled only if the Unit check box is selected.
Factor
Type the quantity that is available in a unit for the selected item(s). For example, if there are 12 apples in a box, the Unit will be “Box”, and Factor will be “12”.
Note: This box is enabled only if the Unit check box is selected.
Date
Select this check box to update the validity period of the selected item(s).
Note: This check box is enabled only if the Active from and Active to boxes are filled out, and the Price agreements check box is selected at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration.
Active from
Type or select the start date of the validity period for the selected item(s). By default, the Active from date defined at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Selection section is displayed.
Note: This box is enabled only if the Date check box is selected, and the Price agreements check box is selected at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration.
Active to
Type or select the end date of the validity period for the selected item(s). By default, the Active to date defined at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Selection section is displayed.
Note: This box is enabled only if the Date check box is selected, and the Price agreements check box is selected at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration.
Discount
Select this check box to update the price agreement(s) of the selected item(s).
Note: This check box is available only if the Price agreements check box at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Type section is selected.
Discount type
You can select the type of discount to be updated for the selected item(s). Four options are available:

New price — Select this to define a new price for the selected item(s).

Amount — Select this to define a discount amount for the selected item(s).

Percentage — Select this to define a discount percentage for the selected item(s).
Note: This box is enabled only if the Discount check box is selected, and is available only if the Price agreements check box at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Type section is selected.
Quantity
Type the quantity to be updated for the selected item(s).
Note: This box is available only if the Price agreements check box at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Type section is selected, and enabled only if the Discount check box is selected.
New price
Type the new price of the selected item(s) to be updated.
Note: This box is available only if New price is selected at Discount type, and the Price agreements check box at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Type section is selected. Also, this box is enabled only if the Discount check box is selected.
Discount
Type the discount (in amount) for the selected item(s) to be updated.
Note: This box is available only if Amount is selected at Discount type, and the Price agreements check box at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Type section is selected. Also, this box is enabled only if the Discount check box is selected.
Discount
Type the discount (in percentage) for the selected item(s) to be updated.
Note: This box is available only if Percentage is selected at Discount type, and the Price agreements check box at Purchase ➔ Price management ➔ Configuration under the Type section is selected. Also, this box is enabled only if the Discount check box is selected.
Buttons
Preview
Click this to view the price agreements that will be updated. In the Price lists/Price agreements screen, click Continue to update the price agreements, Export to export the document to Microsoft Excel, or Close to exit. If there are no price agreements to be updated, a message “No data found” will be displayed.
OK
Click this to update the selected option(s).
Close
Click this to exit.
