Product Updates 421 and 420: Advising record lines displayed for contact person in HSBC Malaysia iFile (Malaysian legislation)
Exact Globe Next has been supporting the HSBC Malaysia iFile
format since product update 403.
This product update allows you to define whether the contact
person (maximum of six recipients) with an email addresses wants to receive
notifications. When you generate the iFile, you can use the email address of
the contact person for the debtor or creditor to identify whether the ADV lines
will be displayed in the bank file. For more information on ADV lines, see Product
Updates 421 and 420: Advising record lines included in HSBC Malaysia iFile.
The
ADV record line will not be displayed if the contact person’s email address is
not provided. However, the ADV record line (maximum of six lines) will be
displayed if the contact person’s email address is provided and HSBC ADV
is selected at Type in the External References screen.

The details in the Advising record lines will be updated as
follows:

ADV-TBLTXT (HEADER) – PAY REF will be updated to
OUR REF

ADV-TBLBDY – Invoice Date will be updated to
Reporting Date

ADV-TBLBDY – Payment Reference will be updated
to Our Reference
If there is a grouping on the invoices, for example, 1
payment for 10 invoices, all the 10 invoices will be recorded in ADV-TBLBDY,

HSBC Malaysia iFile.
