This page allows you to define the settings for Service management.
To view the settings, function right 867 – View service settings is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, Service planner, or Service manager role have this function right.
To edit the settings, function right 887 – Maintain service settings is required. Users with the Service manager role have this function right.
Note:
The information in this document is applicable to product update 255 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

Type or select a division.
Select the priority for the part or hour agreement that will be used to determine the discount of the service activity material or hour lines. You can select more than one.
Select a service slip report that will be used for printing.
Select a detailed planning report that will be used for printing.
Select a compressed planning report that will be used for printing.
Select a service contract report that will be used for printing.
Select an invoice details attachment report that will be used for printing.
Select a mobile service report that will be used for mobile service. This setting will only be used if the Sign process reports setting in the mobile apps settings is set to 'SSRS voorbeeld + Device samengesteld rapport (iOS only)'.
Select a service report that will be used in the Exact Field Service H app. After the service engineer has completed the signing process in the Exact Field Service H app, the Exact Synergy server generates a signed report.
Select a document type for service slips that will be used for printing.
Select a document type for detailed planning that will be used for printing.
Select a document type for compressed planning that will be used for printing.
Select a document type for service contracts that will be used for printing.
Select a document type for service details attachments that will be used for printing.
It is important that the invoice items selected have the Sales and Divisible attribute in Exact Globe Next.
Type or select an invoice item for the parent agreement type that will be used when invoicing or registering costs that relate to the contract agreements.
Type or select an invoice item for the text agreement type that will be used when invoicing or registering costs that relate to the contract agreements.
Type or select an invoice item for the response time agreement type that will be used when invoicing or registering costs that relate to the contract agreements.
Type or select an invoice item for the preventive maintenance agreement type that will be used when invoicing or registering costs that relate to the contract agreements.
Type or select an invoice item for the additional part or hour agreement type that will be used when invoicing or registering costs that relate to the contract agreements.
Type or select an invoice item for the parts or hours agreement type that will be used when invoicing or registering costs that relate to the contract agreements.
Type or select an invoice item for the discount agreement type that will be used when invoicing or registering costs that relate to the contract agreements.
Type or select an item for the service activities that will be used for invoicing. This item will be available in the invoice as an information item line that will separate the invoice lines for each service activity.
Type a selection code that will be used for creating invoices for service management in Exact Globe Next.
Type an invoice code that will be used for creating invoices for service management in Exact Globe Next.
Select Yes if the selection code must be defined at Selection code on the Service: Contracts page. Otherwise, the message “Edit. Mandatory: Selection code” will be displayed. By default, No is selected. For more information, see Creating and maintaining service contracts for Service management.
Select Yes to display the search criteria on the Agreement links page. If No is selected, the Items and Serial numbers fields, and Show: Selected check box will not be displayed on the Agreement links page. By default, No is selected. For more information, see Linking agreements to service configurations for Service management.
Type or select a request type for the preventive maintenance.
Type the maximum number of minutes the contract indexing and prolongation process will timeout.
Type an email address for sending emails from Exact Synergy Enterprise to the mobile application.
Select Yes to display the configurations tree according to the item codes and the serial numbers defined at Items and Serial numbers under the Service configurations section in the Configurations tab in the service request.
By default, No is selected to display the configurations tree with all items and components linked to the account selected in the service request.
Select Yes to display the description of the serial number under the Serial no. column and Extra information section under the Service configuration section in the service activity request. By default, No is selected. For more information, see Creating and maintaining service activity requests for Service management.
Select Yes to display the engineers from the other divisions or No if you do not want engineers from another division to be displayed in the service activity or service planning.
Select Yes to automatically attach documents to the invoice or No if you do not want documents to be attached to the invoice.
Select a labor hour for the assortment.
Select a material for the assortment.
Select how you want to set the Save a copy to Synergy when printing check box for the service activity documents. This check box can be automatically selected or cleared based on the division or user level. You can select any of the following:
