Introduction
This page displays the details of the selected operations and steps. From this page, you can also perform actions like viewing details of the Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing of the operations, registering the time entries for your labor and machine hour items, and more.
Roles and rights
To access this page, the Shop floor control role is required. In addition to that, a few requirements need to be met. For more information, see the Roles and rights section in Logging in to Shop Floor Control via Exact Synergy Enterprise.

How do I view the details of operations?
- Select the SFC Interface check box.
- At Operation, select an operation.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, the production orders with the steps that will be executed on the selected operation will be displayed.
- Click on a row to view the details of the corresponding operation. The Operation details page will be displayed.
How do I view the Bills of Materials (BOM) of the operations?
- Select the SFC Interface check box.
- At Operation, select an operation.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, the production orders with the steps that will be executed on the selected operation will be displayed.
- Click on a row to view the details of the corresponding operation. The Operation details page will be displayed.
- Click BOM. The BOM pop-up page will be displayed.
How do I view the routing details of the operations?
- Select the SFC Interface check box.
- At Operation, select an operation.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, the production orders with the steps that will be executed on the selected operation will be displayed.
- Click on a row to view the details of the corresponding operation. The Operation details page will be displayed.
- Click Routing. The Routing pop-up page will be displayed.
How do I register the time entries for the labor and machine hour items?
- Select the SFC Interface check box.
- At Operation, select an operation.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, the production orders with the steps that will be executed on the selected operation will be displayed.
- Click on a row to view the details of the corresponding operation. The Operation details page will be displayed.
- Click Next. The Time registration page will be displayed.
- Click Start next to the respective labor or machine hour item to start the operation. Once you have clicked Start, Stop will be displayed. Click Stop to stop the operation.
Keep in mind:
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized, after clicking Next at step 5, the Issue materials page will be displayed.
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized and no materials to be issued, after clicking Next at step 5, the Quantity complete page will be displayed.
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized, no available materials to be issued, and the operation is the last operation in the production order, after clicking Next at step 5, the Production receipt page will be displayed.
How do I register the quantity of materials used for the operations?
- Select the SFC Interface check box.
- At Operation, select an operation.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, the production orders with the steps that will be executed on the selected operation will be displayed.
- Click on a row to view the details of the corresponding operation. The Operation details page will be displayed.
- Click Next. The Time registration page will be displayed.
- Click Next. The Issue materials page will be displayed.
- Define the information required.
- Click any of the buttons to save the information.
Keep in mind:
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized, after clicking Next at step 5, the Issue materials page will be displayed.
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized and no materials to be issued, after clicking Next at step 5, the Quantity complete page will be displayed.
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized, no available materials to be issued, and the operation is the last operation in the production order, after clicking Next at step 5, the Production receipt page will be displayed.
- When there are no materials to be issued, after clicking Next at step 6, the Quantity complete page will be displayed.
- When there are no materials to be issued and the operation is the last operation in the production order, after clicking Next at step 6, the Production receipt page will be displayed.
How do I define the quantity completed for the operations?
- Select the SFC Interface check box.
- At Operation, select an operation.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, the production orders with the steps that will be executed on the selected operation will be displayed.
- Click on a row to view the details of the corresponding operation. The Operation details page will be displayed.
- Click Next. The Time registration page will be displayed.
- Click Next. The Issue materials page will be displayed.
- Click Next. The Quantity complete page will be displayed.
- Type a number at Quantity completed.
- Click any of the buttons to save the quantity.
Keep in mind:
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized, after clicking Next at step 5, the Issue materials page will be displayed.
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized and no materials to be issued, after clicking Next at step 5, the Quantity complete page will be displayed.

Buttons
Back
Click this to return to the listing of production orders with the steps that are executed on the selected operation. For more information, see Viewing overview of operations in touch screen user interface.
Next
Click this to display the Time registration page, where you can register the time entries for labor and machine hour items that have to be realized for the step that is executed on the operation. For more information, see Registering time entries in touch screen user interface.
Note:
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized, after clicking Next, the Issue materials page will be displayed. For more information, see Issuing materials in touch screen user interface.
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized and no materials to be issued, after clicking Next, the Quantity complete page will be displayed. For more information, see Defining quantity completed for operations in touch screen user interface.
- When there are no labor or machine hour items to be realized, no available materials to be issued, and the operation is the last operation in the production order, after clicking Next, the Production receipt page will be displayed. For more information, see Receiving make items of production orders in touch screen user interface.
- Clicking Next will update the status of the production order from Released to Printed.
- Clicking Next will also update the status of the operation if the Start hours automatically check box is selected on the Customise: Operation overview page. If the status of the operation is Open, the status will be updated to Started once you have clicked Next. If the status of the operation is Started or Completed, the status will remain as Started and Completed respectively once you have clicked Next.
BOM
Click this to display details of the BOM that are linked to the particular step and operation selected. The details are similar to the details available under the BOM tab of the production order in Exact Globe Next. Routing
Click this to display details of the routing of the operation selected. The details are similar to the details available under the Operations tab of the production order in Exact Globe Next. For more information, see Viewing routing information of steps and operations in touch screen user interface.
Fields
Customer details
This displays the details of the customer that the production order is for.
Item description
This displays the description of the make item for the production order.
Quantity completed
This displays the completed quantity of the make item over the planned quantity of the make item (defined in the header of the production order). The sales unit of the item will be displayed next to the values.
Planned start
This displays the planned start date and time of the operation.
Planned end
This displays the planned end date and time of the operation.
First started on
This displays the earliest start date and time of the operation. In cases where the operation is stopped and then restarted, the date and time displayed will not be changed. When the operation has not been started, "-" will be displayed.
