Entering location transfers
Introduction
In Exact Globe, you can transfer items to different warehouse locations at Purchase ➔ Entries ➔ Location transfers. Click New to register new location transfers or click Continue to register the existing items in the defined warehouse location.
Note: To register the existing items in a specific location, define the selection criteria at Purchase ➔ Entries ➔ Location transfers and click Refresh to display the items. The Continue button becomes available when you select an item.

Description
After clicking New to register new location transfers, or Continue to register existing items stock level in the defined warehouse, the Location transfers screen is displayed:
Note: The Item and Location columns are not editable when registering existing items in the defined warehouse location.
Entry number
The system-generated entry number for the transaction of location transfer is displayed.
Transaction date
The actual transaction date that you have defined is displayed.
Project
Type or select the relevant project for the location transfers.
Item
If you have clicked New to register new location transfers, type or select the item to be transferred. If you have clicked Continue after selecting an item to be transferred, then the selected item is displayed in the column accordingly.
Description
The item description is displayed.
Status
The item status is displayed.
Location
The item’s current warehouse location is displayed. However, you can select a new location where the selected item is in stock.
Location description
The item’s warehouse location description is displayed.
Stock
The item’s stock quantity in the current warehouse location is displayed.
Move
The item’s quantity to be transferred is displayed.
Sls. unit/Pur. Unit
The item’s unit in sales unit or purchase unit according to the selection in the main screen is displayed.
Loc.
Click 
to specify the quantity of items to be transferred.
Destination
The destination warehouse location of the item to be transferred is displayed.
Description
The destination warehouse location description is displayed.
Stock
The item’s stock quantity in the destination warehouse location is displayed.
Move
Type the item’s quantity to be transferred to the destination location.
Sls. unit/Pur. unit
The item’s sales unit or purchase unit is displayed.
S/B
If the item is a serial or batch item, type or select the relevant serial or batch number.
Serial/batch
This column indicates whether the item being transferred is a serial or batch item or neither.
Buttons
Process
Click Process to transfer the item from the current location to the destination location.
Cancel
Click Cancel to cancel the location transfer and exit.
