In order to support worldwide business operations, Exact Globe Next provides functions to create and maintain countries.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon are mandatory.
Type the code for the new country entry. You cannot edit this code the next time you want to maintain the entry.
Type the name of the country.
Select this checkbox to activate the country so that you can use the country in your administration.
Type or select the currency for this country. Click Edit to modify the entries of the selected currency.
This displays the exchange rate of the selected currency. Click Edit to modify the exchange rate for this currency.
This displays the current date when you are creating a country.
Note: This field is available only when you click New in the main screen.
Type or select the type of bank account for the country. Click Edit to modify the description of the selected bank account type.
Select this check box if the country is a member state of the European Union.
This tab displays all the codes and the descriptions of the selected counties.
This tab displays all the details of the accounts including the details of suppliers and customers in the selected country.
This tab displays all the information about the contact persons of your accounts. Click Edit to edit the information of the contact person of the selected account.
This tab displays various kinds of taxes that are imposed in the selected country. Click New to add a VAT, click Edit to modify the selected VAT, and click Remove to delete the selected VAT.
This tab displays all your bank accounts maintained in the selected country. Click Edit to edit the entries of the selected bank account.
This tab displays all the payroll components that you are using in your administration in the selected country.
This tab displays all the warehouses that you operate in the country. Click New to add a warehouse, click Edit to modify the selected warehouse, and click Remove to delete the selected warehouse.
You can type the name of the selected country in four other languages apart from the default language you use in Exact Globe Next. These languages are defined at System ? General ? Settings in General settings under the Descriptions in list boxes section.
Click this to save all the changes made to an existing entry or to save a new entry.
Click this to create another entry for a country.
Click this to exit.
