This page allows you to create and maintain the free fields for the service configurations, contracts, and agreements. If the fields that you want are not listed in the service configurations, contracts and/or agreements, you can name the fields according to your needs. For example, if you want to store the start date of the contract, you can type “Start date” under a free field that is meant for date use.
The free fields defined for the contracts will be available on the Service: Contracts (for more information, see Creating and maintaining service contracts for Service management), Index: Service contracts (for more information, see Indexing and prolongating contracts for Service management), and Search: Service contracts (for more information, see Searching for service contracts for Service management) pages.
In addition, the free fields defined for the agreements will be available on the Agreement (for more information, see Creating and maintaining agreements for Service management) and Search: Service contracts pages, while the free fields defined for the service configurations will be available on the Service: Configuration page (for more information, see Creating and maintaining service configurations for Service management).
Note: The free fields defined for the service agreements only apply to the normal agreement lines (not applicable for agreement sets or contract templates).
All users are allowed to create, edit, and delete the free fields.
