Introduction

At this page, you can generate a request for the selected person. The request to be generated has to be created and saved in draft mode.

Menu path

Go to HRM/Reports/People/Search, click Show, and then click Request merge.

Roles & rights

All users can generate requests from HRM search.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Request

Click this to generate the request.

Reset

Click this to clear the defined request so that you can select another request.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Criteria section

Request (Draft)

Type or select the request ID to display the request that you want to generate. This information is mandatory.

Create

Select Via: Process – Background or Directly to specify the method of generating the request. If you select Via: Process – Background, the request will only be generated after running the background job. If you select Directly, the request will be generated immediately and can be viewed in the workflow of the particular person.
