This page allows you to index or prolong service contracts in batches. For indexation, the indexation date will be the same as the date of the new invoice rate. The agreements that start on the day of the indexation will be terminated.
All users can index or prolong service contracts.
Note:
The information in this document is applicable to product update 258 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
You can customize the fields and columns that you want to be displayed on the page by clicking Customize.
Click this to display the service contracts based on the search criteria.
Click this to clear the search criteria.
Click this to display the total number of service contracts.
Click this to clear all the customized search criteria.
Click this to exit.
Select the status of the service contracts to view the service contracts with the selected status(es). You can select the Draft, Proposed, Active, Closed, Rejected, and/or Blocked check box(es).
Type or select a service contract number to view the service contracts with the defined contract number.
Type or select a service contract type to view the service contracts with the defined contract type.
Type or select a division to view the service contracts with the defined division. By default, the division of the person is displayed.
Note: The division can be selected only if you have function right 871 – Maintain service contracts on the corporate level.
Type or select a project to view the service contracts with the defined project.
Type or select a start date or range of start dates to view the service contracts with the selected start date(s). If this field is blank, service contracts with any start date will be displayed.
Type or select an end date or a range of end dates to view the service contracts with the selected end date(s). If this field is blank, service contracts with any end date will be displayed.
Type or select a template to view the service contracts with the selected template. If this field is blank, service contracts with any template will be displayed.
Select a month to view the service contract with the indexation month. If this field is blank, service contracts with any indexation month will be displayed.
Type or select the date range of the last indexation date for the service contract.
Type or select a currency to view the service contracts with the selected currency.
Type or select an account to view the service contracts with the defined account.
Type or select a contact person to view the service contracts with the defined contact person.
Type or select an account that was invoiced to view the service contracts with the defined invoiced account.
Type or select an account for the service activity to view the service contracts with the defined service account.
Type or select a configuration to view the service contracts with the defined configuration.
Select the type of agreement to view the service contracts with the selected agreement type. You can select the Discount, Parent, Text, Response time, Preventive maintenance, Additional part / hour, Parts / Hours, and/or Item check box(es).
Type or select an item or a range of items to view the service contracts with the selected item(s) for the division. If this field is blank, service contracts with any item will be displayed.
Select a month to view the service contracts of the agreements with the selected indexation month. If this field is blank, service contracts of the agreements with any indexation month will be displayed.
Type or select an assortment or a range of assortments to view the service contracts with the selected assortment(s) for the division. If this field is blank, service contracts with any assortment will be displayed.
Select how you want to view the service contracts. You can select Contract number (+) to view the service contracts with the highest contract number, or Contract number (-) to view the service contracts with the lowest contract number.
By default, the Contract items, Agreements, and Agreement details check boxes are disabled.
Select Index agreements and rates to index the service agreements and linked configuration rates, Index via new agreements to index the service contracts, or Prolongation to prolong the service contracts. By default, Index via new agreements is selected.
Select Increase with percentage to index the service contracts based on percentage, or Increase with amount to index the service contracts based on amount. By default, Increase with percentage is selected.
Note: This field is available only if Indexing is selected at Method.
Select the rounding method for the service contracts. You can select Upwards, or Downwards. By default, Upwards is selected.
Type or select a date the service contract was indexed.
Type the index percentage of the service contract to be indexed.
Note: This field is available only if Indexing is selected at Method, and Increase with percentage is selected at Indexing Type.
Type the index amount of the service contract to be indexed.
Note: This field is available only if Indexing is selected at Method, and Increase with amount is selected at Indexing Type.
Select this check box to use the indexation rate based on the following:

Type the value that will be used for the rounding method.
Type the number of months for the service contract prolongation.
Note: This field is available only if Prolongation is selected at Method.
