Creating and maintaining titles
Introduction
When creating a person or a
contact like a debtor and a creditor, you can also select a title. These titles
can be used for certain documents.
Fields
Code
Type a code for the new title.
Codes of existing titles cannot be modified.
Description
Type a description for the
title.
Heading
Type a heading to which the title belongs. This is useful when creating a creditor label, debtor label, or a Word Merge document. This
can only be added via a Word Merge document when you have
E-Human resource in your license. For more information, see
Labels printing.
Abbreviation
Type an abbreviation for the
title.
Gender
Select a gender for the title. When
the title does not apply to the gender, select
Unknown.
Language
Type or select a language to which the title applies.
Default
Select the check box to fill the title automatically for the person based on the language selected under the
General section at HR ➔ People ➔ Maintain.
Buttons
Save
Click this to save a created or modified
title.
New
Click this to create a title.
Close
Click this to exit.
