Exact Visual scheduler - Working with Dashboard feature

Go to Manufacturing ➔ Planning ➔ Visual scheduler

Introduction

This feature in Exact Visual scheduler enables you to:

• view the number of production operations that have been scheduled but have yet to be approved in the Firm zone section,
• approve single or multiple production operations that are listed in that view, and
• preview the unapproved production orders listed for printing and exporting purposes.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is based on product update 405 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I view scheduled but unapproved production operations?

1. In the Selection: Production order screen, define the criteria to display only the production orders that you want to view in the scheduler.
2. Click Start.
3. In the Visual scheduler screen, click Dashboard.
4. In the Visual scheduler dashboard screen, click the hyperlinked value displayed at Unapproved ops* in the Firm zone section.

How do I approve scheduled production operations?

1. In the Selection: Production order screen, define the criteria to display only the production orders that you want to view in the scheduler.
2. Click Start.
3. In the Visual scheduler screen, click Dashboard.
4. In the Visual scheduler dashboard screen, click the hyperlinked value displayed at Unapproved ops* in the Firm zone section.
5. Select the relevant check box in the Selected column of the table displayed in the Details section to approve the required production operation(s). Alternatively, click Select all to select all the check boxes displayed in the table to approve the production operations in bulk.
6. Click Approve.

How do I preview scheduled production operations?

1. In the Selection: Production order screen, define the criteria to display only the production orders that you want to view in the scheduler.
2. Click Start.
3. In the Visual scheduler screen, click Dashboard.
4. In the Visual scheduler dashboard screen, click the hyperlinked value displayed at Unapproved ops* in the Firm zone section.
5. Click Preview. In the Preview screen, you will be able to e-mail, save, and print the list of unapproved production operations, as well as export the document into file formats such as Excel, PDF, HTML, CSV, and various image files.
