Shop Floor Control – Issuing materials in Exact Synergy Enterprise user interface

Introduction

On this page, you can issue materials for the production orders. It is possible to issue all materials in a production order at once, or issue a material in the production order separately.

Roles and rights

To access this page, the Shop floor control role is required. In addition to that, a few requirements need to be met. For more information, see the Roles and rights section in Logging in to Shop Floor Control via Exact Synergy Enterprise.

The information in this document is based on product update 251.

How do I issue the materials per production order all at once?

  1. Log in to your Exact Synergy Enterprise. If you have been assigned the Shop floor control role in Exact Synergy Enterprise, the Shop floor control page will then be displayed. If you do not have the Shop floor control role, skip to step 4.
  2. On the Shop floor control page, clear the SFC Interface check box. This page is displayed only if you have been assigned the Shop floor control role in Exact Synergy Enterprise.
  3. Click Login. Once you have logged in, you will see your database in Exact Synergy Enterprise user interface.
  4. Click Production at the top menu, and then click Entry.
  5. Click Production issue overview. The Production issue overview page will be displayed.
  6. Define the search criteria, and then click Show.
  7. Click the hyperlink under the Action column. The Production – Issues page will be displayed with all the planned materials to be issued for the production order.
  8. For each item displayed, select the location of the materials to be issued under the Location column.
  9. For each serial or batch item displayed, select the required serial numbers or a batch number by clicking under the Serial/batch numbers column. The Serial/batch page will be displayed. For a serial item, select the check box(es) next to the respective serial number(s) on this page, and then click Add. For a batch item, select the required batch number on this page.
  10. Define the quantity to be issued for each material under the Quantity column. This field is not enabled for serial or batch items.
  11. Click Save.

How do I issue the materials individually?

  1. Log in to your Exact Synergy Enterprise. If you have been assigned the Shop floor control role in Exact Synergy Enterprise, the Shop floor control page will then be displayed. If you do not have the Shop floor control role, skip to step 4.
  2. On the Shop Floor Control page, clear the SFC Interface check box. This page is displayed only if you have been assigned the Shop floor control role in Exact Synergy Enterprise.
  3. Click Login. Once you have logged in, you will see your database in Exact Synergy Enterprise user interface.
  4. Click Production at the top menu, and then click Entry.
  5. Click Production issue overview. The Production issue overview page will be displayed.
  6. Define the search criteria, and then click Show.
  7. Click the hyperlink under the Details column. You will see a list of planned materials to be issued for the production order.
  8. Click the hyperlink under the Action column. The Production – Issues page will be displayed with only the selected material that you want to issue.
  9. For each serial or batch item displayed, select the required serial numbers or a batch number by clicking under the Serial/batch numbers column. The Serial/batch page will be displayed. For a serial item, select the check box(es) next to the respective serial number(s) on this page, and then click Add. For a batch item, select the required batch number on this page.
  10. Define the quantity to be issued for each material under the Quantity column. This field is not enabled for serial or batch items.
  11. Click Save.

Tips and tricks

When issuing materials, you:

  • can issue more than the planned quantity,
  • can select the serial or batch numbers for serial or batch items, but
  • cannot add new lines.
