You can monitor the production progress of production orders.

The information in this document is based on product update 407.

How do I view the progress of production operations?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria
2. Click Refresh.
3. Click Close.

How do I generate the purchase order for a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria. Select the required production order.
2. Click Purchase. For more information, see Generating purchase orders from sales orders, service orders, production orders, and internal use requests.
3. In the Generate purchase orders screen, double click the Selected column for the item(s) to be purchased.
4. Click Purchase to generate the purchase order of items for the production order.
5. Click Close.

How do I outsource the operation for a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Outsourced.
4. In the Outsourced items screen, define the relevant criteria.
5. Select the materials to be inserted for the operation that will be outsourced.
6. Click Select.
7. Click Close.

How do I print an operation slip?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Print. For more information, see Printing operation slips for production orders.
4. In the Print : Operation screen, define the relevant criteria.
5. Click Print.

How do I define or change the status and completion percentage of the operation for a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Status. For more information, see Defining status and percentage of completion for operations.
4. In the Operations control screen, under the Operation Status section, select the relevant status at Status.
5. Type the percentage of completion for the production order at Percentage complete.
6. Click Save.

How do I define or change the sorting sequence of the operation for a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Sorting sequence. For more information, see Defining start time for sorting of operations.
4. In the Plan screen, type the time when the operation is scheduled to start at Start time.
5. Click OK.

How do I maintain the project information for a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, defined the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Project. For more information, see Creating and maintaining projects.
4. In the Maintain projects screen, define the relevant information.
5. Click Save.
6. Click Close.

How do I fulfill the item issued for a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Fulfillment. In the Production screen, define the actual number of items received in the Actuals column.
4. Click Fulfillment.
5. Click Start to print the fulfillment slip.

How do I process the receipts for a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, defined the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Receipts.
4. In the Receipt screen, click Process.

How do I view a production order?

1. In the Operations control screen, define the search criteria.
2. Select the required production order.
3. Click Open.
