This document provides you the steps to performing diagnostic checks for financial, logistics, and project operations in Exact Globe+.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 502 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: You will see a warning message when you open the Diagnose screen if there are active users accessing the same database.
Select this to check transactions in open and close periods.
Select this to check transactions in open periods only.
Note: If you select the Only in open periods option, the Financial year and Period fields will be disabled.
Select the range of financial years to run the check. Select All if you want to check transactions for all the years.
Type or select the range of financial periods to run the check. Select All if you want to check transactions for all financial periods. This function is enabled if you want to check for one financial year.
Note: If you select a range of years or the All check box at Financial year, Period will be disabled. To enable the Period field, select a particular year at Financial year, for example 2022 to 2023.
Select this check box to perform the diagnostic check for financial transactions.
Select this check box to perform the diagnostic check for logistics transactions.
Select this check box to perform the diagnostic check for the hour entry transactions in projects.
Note: This check box is only available in the Advanced mode.
This tab displays all items related to financial transactions that will be checked.
This tab displays all items related to logistics transactions that will be checked.
Note: If you are in the Simple mode, fewer items will be checked under the Financial and Logistics tabs.
This tab displays all items related to project transactions that will be checked.
Note: The Project tab is only available in the Advanced mode.
Click this to exit.
Click this to start performing the checking process.
Click this to repair the transactions. After you click the Repair button, a warning message shows. Click Yes to continue.
Note: This button is only available if you have run the diagnostic check.
Click this to email the results of the diagnostic check.
Click this to view all the information of the diagnostic checks. The information includes the person who performed the checks, the dates of the checks, the start and end times of the checks, durations of the checks, and remarks.
Click this to go to the advanced mode of the diagnostic check which include project checking. The button will change to Simple after you have clicked Advanced. Click Simple to return to the simple mode.
You will see the buttons below once you have run the diagnostic check and click .
Click this to view the general journal entry screen of the selected journal entry.
Note: Select a record in the overview and click Zoom to enable the Entry button.
Click this to view the details of the selected record.
Click this to go back to the previous screen.
Note: This button is enabled only after you click Zoom.
Click this to display the records based on the defined criteria.
Click this to export the transactions to Microsoft Excel.
Click this to match the selected transaction. For more information, see Matching entries.
Click this to remove the matching of the selected transaction.
Click this to rebuild the term of the selected transaction.
This icon indicates that the transaction is error-free.
This icon indicates that an error is found in the transaction from the diagnostic check.
Click this to view the details of the diagnostic check results on the respective transactions.
