Creating and modifying bank account types

Introduction

On this page, you can create, modify, or delete the bank account types.

Roles and rights

To view, create, or modify bank account types, function right 278 – Maintain bank account type is required. Users with the Controller or HR role have this function right.

Notes:

  • For more details on function rights, go to System à Setup à Security à Function rights.
  • For more details on roles, go to System à Setup à Security à Roles.

The information in this document is based on product update 250.

How do I create bank account types?

  1. On the HRM: Type - Bank accounts page, click New.
  2. On the HRM: Type - Bank account page at Code, type a code of the bank account type.
  3. At Description, type the name or description of the bank account type.
  4. Fill in other information.
  5. Click Save. To save this entry and create another bank account type immediately, click Save + New instead.

Keep in mind: All fields with the "!" icon are mandatory.

How do I modify the bank account types?

  1. On the HRM: Type - Bank accounts page, click the hyperlinked description under the Description column.
  2. Click Edit, and then make the necessary changes.
  3. Click Save.

How do I delete the bank account types?

  1. On the HRM: Type - Bank accounts page, click the hyperlinked description under the Description column.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Click Delete. A message "Are you sure that you want to delete this record?" is displayed.
  4. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
