Product Updates 419: Digitaler Prüferzugriff (DPZ) available in Exact Globe Next (German legislation)

The Digitaler Prüferzugriff (DPZ) solution has been made available in Exact Globe Next (EGN) and is accessible via the System ➔ General ➔ Digital access for auditors (DPZ) menu path. The existing requirement of the solution still applies, whereby you are still required to copy the IDEA folder into a DVD for the submission to the tax auditors.

With this new enhancement, the installation of the external DPZ tool is no longer required and the tool will no longer be enhanced or maintained. Note that the PRF files that have been created previously from the external tool can still be imported into the DPZ solution in EGN for further export.

The enhancements that have been made are as follows:

Digitaler Prüferzugriff (DPZ) menu path

The solution can be accessed via the System ➔ General ➔ Digital access for auditors (DPZ) menu path.

In the Data export for DPZ screen, you will be able to define the information for the data that will be exported for submission. Under the Filter section, you can define the range type of the report, financial year, date range, and type of views. Under the Show section, you will be able to include transactions of the previous year by selecting the Include : transactions of previous year check box. The transactions that will be included will be from the previous year until the financial year that has been defined at the Financial year field under the Filter section. The Result section will display the progress of the export.

The Finish button will export the data based on the defined information, and will create the Archiv, IDEA, and LOG folders and files. Upon the completion of the export, the message “Completed successfully” will be displayed.

In addition, you will also be able to define the settings of data that will be exported by clicking the Settings button.

Note: For the multi-companies administration, the export directory and the last used profile that will be displayed will be based on the company that was previously saved.

Settings

By clicking the Settings button, the following screen will be displayed:

The screen contains the Exact DPZ section, under which you can define the following:

• Export directory field – Define the export directory at this field. The folder that is selected will store the IDEA, LOG, and PRF files.
• Basic tab – Select the necessary tables and fields in this tab.
• Extra tab – Add or remove recipients in this tab.
• Logbook tab – View the logs of the export in this tab. 

In the screen, you will also be able to perform actions by clicking the following buttons:

• Open button – Click this button to open the customized PRF files.
• Save button – Click this button to save the information that has been defined and create the profiles.
• Print button – Click this button to print the profiles.
• Close button – Click this to exit the screen. 

Extra tab

In this tab, you will be able to add the recipients of the exported data by clicking the Add button, or remove them by clicking the Remove button.

Logbook tab

In this tab, you will be able to view the logs of the export, which also include the logs for the loading and saving of profiles.
