This page allows you to view the hierarchy of people within the organization. You can also view the breakdowns of the person's structures by location, division, cost center, manager, person type, and employment status of the person. You can select the layout type in hierarchy listing or chart.
All users can view the hierarchy of people within an organisation.
Note:
The information in this document is applicable to product update 259 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Click this to exit.
Click this to update the hierarchy according to the defined criteria.
Click this to clear all the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Click this to go to the HRM: Manager schedule page to view the planning of the subordinates of the person defined.
Click this to go to the Hour & expense approval page. For more information, see Overview of hours and expenses to be approved or rejected.
Click Customise at the title bar to customize the hierarchy list or chart. Click Save to save the settings, Reset to reset your selections to the default setting, or Close to exit without saving. Take note of the following sections:
You can choose up to five columns and hyperlinks to be displayed in the hierarchy list by selecting the options at Columns and Hyperlinks respectively. This is only applicable to hierarchy displayed in the List format.
You can choose up to five types of information to be displayed in the hierarchy chart at Row, and the number of people to be displayed in the hierarchy chart for each level at Columns. At Order, you can select the available options to define the order of the hierarchy chart. This is only applicable to hierarchy displayed in the Chart format.
Type or select the ID to be displayed. Once you have selected a person, you can view the details of the person by clicking the name displayed next to the box. For more information, see Viewing personal cards.
Note: The name of this field will change to Location if you have selected Location at Involvement. You can then type or select the location code to display the hierarchy of people based on the selected location.
Select Manager, Cost centre, Division, or Location to display the hierarchy of people based on the selected option.
Select List or Chart to display the hierarchy of people in a list or chart format.
Select the Employee, Contractor, Student, Temporary, Applicant, and/or Vacancy check boxes to include people with the respective employment types in the hierarchy.
Select the Active, Hired, Inactive, and/or To be approved check boxes to include people with the respective statuses in the hierarchy.
