This page allows you to view the headcount by competence report. This report displays the total headcount of applicants or people who have completed the competency review and the percentage of completed reviews, as well as the headcount of those who have not completed the competency review. This feature is available only if the competency method is defined as Advanced in the general HRM settings. For more information, see Defining HRM general settings.
Competency management is an important feature that helps organizations to evaluate the competence of an individual as well as to identify the key behaviors required for an individual to perform in an excellent manner. This will help them to recognize the right candidates and match them to the right jobs.
To view the headcount by competence report, function right 359 — Maintain Competency is required. By default, users with the HR or HR assistant role have this function right.

The information in this document is applicable to product update 259 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Click this to exit.
Click this to display the report according to the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Click this to update the report according to the defined criteria.
Click this to clear all the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Click Customise at the title bar to customize the fields. You can add or remove existing criteria based on your preferences by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes. Click Save to save the settings and exit, Default to reset your selections to the default settings, or Close to exit without saving.
Select one of the available options to display the report for specific groups of people in the organization. The available options depend on the setup at Modules ? HRM ? Setup ? Organisation ? Group: Division. For more information, see Overview of group layouts.
Type or select the division code to display the report of people belonging to the selected division. Once you have selected a division, you can view the details of the division by clicking the name of the division displayed next to the box. For more information, see Viewing division cards.
Type or select the cost center code to display the report of people belonging to the selected cost center. Once you have selected a cost center, you can view the details of the cost center by clicking the name of the cost center displayed next to the box. For more information, see Creating and modifying cost centers.
Type or select the job group code to display the report of people belonging to the selected job group. For more information, see Viewing job groups.
Type or select the job activity code to display the report of people belonging to the selected job activity. For more information, see Viewing job activities.
Type or select the job title code to display the report of people belonging to the selected job title. For more information, see Viewing job titles.
Select Group, Division, Cost centre, Job group, Job activity, or Job title to group the report by the selected option.
Select Direct, Level 2, or Level 3 to include people with the selected reporting level in the report. If you want to display people of all levels, select None.
Select the Employee, Contractor, Student, Temporary and/or Applicant check boxes to include the respective types of employment in the report.
Type or select the date or range of dates to display the applicants or people with competency review profiles that have been created within the specified dates.
Note: Typing or selecting only the start of a date range will display report for competency review profiles that are created on the selected date and after it. Typing or selecting only the end of a date range will display report for competency review profiles that are created on the date and before it.
Select the Active, Hired, and/or Inactive check boxes to include the respective statuses of the people in the report.
Select one or more of the following check boxes to view the records, which are reviewed by the selected reviewer:
This column displays the headcount of people who match the defined criteria.
This column displays the headcount of people who have not completed the competency review.
This column displays the headcount of people who have already completed the competency review.
This column displays the headcount of people who have already completed the competency review in percentage form.
