Introduction

All the document layouts under the various sections at the menu path stated have different sets of blocks. For this document, the details of the block that is available under the HRM section will be explained. For more information, see Maintaining layouts: Explanation on blocks.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

Payroll slips

Header
This block consists of data like the company’s address, employee’s name, job title, and employment date.

Reference number
Depending on the legislation of a country, this block consists of data like the employee’s social security number, tax file number, identification card number, and passport number.

Earnings
This block consists of data like the base value or earnings, earnings amount, hourly wage, quantity of working hours, and description of earnings.

Deductions
This block consists of data like the deductions amount, description of deductions, monthly deductions, and yearly deductions.

Employee
This block consists of data like the employee’s contribution amount to the tax authority, provident fund, and the social security council.

Employer
This block consists of data like the employer’s contribution amount to the provident fund for the employee.

Taxes
This block consists of data like the description of taxes, tax amount for the month and for the year.

Net
This block consists of data like the net earnings amount.

Total
This block consists of data like the total amount of base earnings, deductions, and net earnings.

Extra data
This block consists of data like the currency code, payment date, payment period, number of working days and working hours.

Note: If you are using a Dutch license, you will not be able to create payroll slip layouts as Exact Globe Next has pre-defined the payroll slip layouts. However, it is still possible to edit the pre-defined layouts. The block system does not apply to the payroll slip layouts for a Dutch license.
