Product Updates 421 and 420: VAT return form for 2021 available (German legislation)

The latest VAT return form has been made available for the financial year 2021. For the submission to be successful, ensure that the latest ERiC version 33.2.8.0 is installed.

The changes in the latest form are as follows:

• The locations for boxes 41, 44, 49, 43, and 48, have been swapped with boxes 81, 86, 35, 77, and 76.
• Boxes 42, 60, 21, and 45, have been moved to page 2, and have swapped locations with boxes 46, 47, 73, 74, 84, and 85.
• The description for box 91 has been changed to von bestimmten Gegenständen und Anlagegold (§§ 4b und 25c UStG).
• The footer description has been changed to USt 1 A – Umsatzsteuer-Voranmeldung 2021 – (05.20).

• Boxes 46, 47, 73, 74, 84, and 85, have been moved to page 1, and have swapped locations with boxes 42, 60, 21, and 45.
• Box 64 has swapped location with box 59.
• The description for box 84 has been changed to Andere Leistungen (§ 13b Abs. 2 Nr. 1, 2, 4 bis 12 UStG).
• The word “des” has been added in the description for box 65; Steuer infolge des Wechsels der Besteuerungsform sowie Nachsteuer auf versteuerte Anzahlungen u. ä. wegen Steuersatzänderung.
• The two bottom sections have been removed.
• The section Datenschutzhinweis has been moved to the bottom right of the page.
• The footer description has been changed to USt 1 A – Umsatzsteuer-Voranmeldung 2021 – (05.20).
• A new section has been added in between lines 70 and 75.
• Two new boxes, 50 and 37, have been added.
