Generating cash instruments balance list

Introduction

You can generate a list of account balances for your cash instruments. The account balance will display the cash instruments, type of cash instruments, bank balances, payments in transit, and other relevant information.

Menu Path

Cash flow ➔ Reports ➔ Balance list

Fields

You can filter the balance list report that you want to display. To search for the balance list, you can define one or more of the following criteria and click Display. The balance list that matches the search criteria you have entered is then displayed.

Cash instrument section

Type

Select the type of cash instrument for which you want the payment data generated in the report. You can choose from All, Bank, Cash, Cash register and Credit card.

Cash instrument

Type or select the cash instrument account number for which you want the payment data generated in the report. For more information, see Selecting cash instrument.

Advanced section

The following fields are only visible if the Advanced button is clicked.

Status

Select the Active, Blocked and/or Inactive check boxes to display the balance list with the corresponding statuses.

Bank name

Type or select the bank name where your account is maintained. For more information, see Selecting bank name.

Last entry date

Type or select the last entry date of your account.

Currency code

Type or select the currency code in which your bank account is maintained. For more information, see Selecting currency.

Buttons

Simple/Advanced

Click Advanced to display advanced criteria. Click Simple to hide the advanced criteria.

Display

Click this to generate the balance list based on the selected criteria. For more information, see Overview of cash instruments balance list.

Close

Click this to exit.
