This feature allows you to display the changes that have been made to certain fields in the personal cards. On this page, you can authorize or reject the changes made. You will need to set up the settings beforehand so that authorization is required if amendments are done to the fields. For more information, see Setting up fields to be authorized.
If you have selected the Log: Effective date check box in the division card, you can define the dates when the changes are to be updated for the person who belong to the particular division. You can define the dates after saving the changes made in the personal card. The background process Exact.Jobs.SysMaint (for more information, see Exact.Jobs.SysMaint.dll) will then update all authorized changes, which have the dates that are equal to or before the processing date.
To view the data that require authorization before changes can be applied, function right 147 — Maintain resource card is required. By default, users with the HR or HR assistant role have this function right.

The information in this document is applicable to product update 259 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

Click this to authorize the selected data. The statuses of the newly amended data as displayed in the Status column will change from Open to Authorised.
Click this to reject the selected data. The statuses of the newly amended data as displayed in the Status column will change from Open or Authorised to Rejected. Note: Once the request has been rejected, the request Security level on the Task page will automatically be set to 100 – Person (Specific) for fields that are selected under the HRM: Fields - To be authorised screen. For more information, see Overview of fields to be authorized.
Type or select a division code to display the data that have been changed for people belonging to the selected division. Once you have selected a division, you can view the details of the division by clicking the name of the division displayed next to the box. For more information, see Viewing division cards.
Type or select a cost center code or range of cost center codes to display data that have been changed for the selected cost centers. Once you have selected a cost center, you can view the details of the cost center by clicking the name of the cost center displayed next to the box. For more information, see Creating and modifying cost centers.
Type or select a user ID or range of user IDs to display data that have been changed for the selected people. Once you have selected a person, you can view the details of the person by clicking the hyperlink displayed next to the box. For more information, see Viewing personal cards.
Select Division, Cost center, or People to group the results by division, cost center, or people respectively.
Select the To be authorised, Authorised, or Rejected check boxes to display data that have not been authorized, authorized, and rejected respectively.
