Introduction
For databases on an on-premise SQL server, the settings in this
screen allows you to migrate this company to a Microsoft Azure SQL database.
For a Microsoft Azure SQL database, the settings in this screen allows you to
change the password for the database.
This feature is for updating an existing on-premise Exact Globe+ company database to be Microsoft Azure SQL database compatible. You have to manually upload the updated company database from on-premise to Microsoft Azure SQL Server.
After this is done, you should access the company via virtualization technology (Azure VM Remote Desktop Connection or Azure RemoteApp). You should no longer use an on-premise local installation of Exact Globe+ to access the company.
Note: The action you perform is this screen can not be reverted. It is recommended that you back up the Exact Globe+ database.
What version are you using?
The
information in this document is applicable to product update 412 and higher. If
you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be
applicable.
