How do I link a service agreement to a service configuration?

  1. On the Search: Service contracts page, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Show.
  3. Select a contract under the Contract number column.
  4. Click Agreement links.
  5. Define the search criteria and click Show if Yes is selected at Show agreement link tree by filter on the Service: Settings page. For more information, see Maintaining settings for Service management.
  6. Select the configuration and agreement check box(es) that you want to link. You can also click at the service configuration to view all the items that are linked to the service configuration.
  7. Click Save.

Keep in mind:

  • If Yes is selected at Show agreement link tree by filter on the Service: Settings page, and the total number of configurations and items is more than 100 lines, the message “Refine your search results with filters” will be displayed.
  • If the status of the service contract is Active, only the check box(s) that have not been selected will be enabled. However, the check box(es) that have been selected and saved cannot be changed, unless the status of the service contract has been changed to Proposed. The message “Items can be linked to agreements but once linked cannot be edited anymore in contract status active” will be displayed when Agreement links is clicked on an active contract.
