Overview of Exact Visual scheduler

Introduction
Exact Visual scheduler allows you to:
- access the overall picture of the shop floor schedule,
- view and manipulate the load from each production operation scheduled to run through each operation, and
- view and manipulate the schedule of a production order.
Keep in mind: Exact Visual scheduler can only be accessed if:
- You have SE4010 — E-Special Order and option 103 in your license if your Exact Globe application is of product update 404 or you have SE4130 — Exact Visual Scheduler and option 118 in your license if your Exact Globe application is of product update 402 or 403.
- The Operations check box is selected at System ? General ? Settings, under Manufacturing settings.
- You have the Visual scheduler menu right at System ? HR & Security ? User rights.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is applicable to product update 405 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Toolbar
Unscheduled
Click this to schedule all active or new production orders in the Global scheduling screen. For more information, see Scheduling production orders.
Prod. zoom in
Click this to view the schedule of a production order, move the operations of the production order, change the scheduling variables, view details of the production order, and assign work to employees. For more information, see Scheduling single production orders.
Op. zoom in
Click this to view and manage the production orders scheduled in each operation. For more information, see Operation zoom in form.
Actions
The following options are available:
- Reschedule — Click this to reschedule production orders that have been scheduled. For more information, see Scheduling production orders.
- Make work day/non-work day — Click this to make the selected day a work day or non-work day for all shifts assigned to the operation. The option available depends on whether that day is already a work day or not. Note that this option is available when the timeline view of your Gantt is selected as Day view.
Edit
Click this and click Operation capacity to override the capacity of an operation. For more information, see Overriding capacity of operations.
Settings
The following options are available:
Fields
Change gantt view
Click this icon to change the view of the timeline.
Display load from, to
Type or select the date range to change the timeline display and show the load for each operation during that specified range.
Dashboard
Click this to display the Visual scheduler dashboard screen. In this screen, you can view the number of production operations that have been scheduled in the Firm Zone without being approved by the scheduler. For more information, see Working with Dashboard feature.
Refresh
Click this to refresh the Shop overview form to display the latest information.
