PU 424 | 423 | 422 (Globe) and 501 | 500 (Globe+): Further enhancements of e-Invoice feature for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Middle Eastern legislation)
In the previous release note Introduction of QR code and
e-Invoice feature for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Middle East legislation),
Exact Globe Next introduced the functionality to generate the relevant
XML in the ZATCA UBL 2.1 format and also generate the corresponding
QR code according to the ZATCA format.
In
this product update, we have made it possible for you to archive the e-Invoice
attachments (PDF and XML files) into an external directory. You can define this
directory at the E-Invoice: Directory field in the Invoice settings
at System > General > Settings.
Furthermore, the eInvoice check box is
enabled for all the output options when you select the Final option at
Invoice > Entries > Sales invoice – Process and Invoice > Entries >
Print/Process.
The check box is also enabled in the Invoice
history screen at Invoice > Reports > Invoice history – Print. If you
have selected the check box in the Invoice history screen, the
reprinting of the invoice attachment will also be copied to the e-Invoice
directory.
Additionally, the XML and PDF files will be generated during
the invoice processing regardless of the output selection. The files will be
stored in the directory that you have selected at the E-Invoice: Directory
field.
For
the company and debtor Address 2 (building number) and Address 3 (additional
number of the address) fields, you are required to set them to 4 digits.
For the company and debtor Postal code fields,
you are required to set them to 5 digits.
If you do not define the correct format, you might
get errors from ZATCA during the e-Invoice submission.
