Sales orders report

Introduction

This screen provides a report of sales orders that are created. The report also displays the process flow of each sales order, which you can process by clicking the processes in the process flow. From this report, you can also:

  • view and/or edit the sales orders
  • view and/or edit notes for the sales orders
  • view documents attached to the sales orders
  • export the sales orders to Microsoft Excel, or
  • view and/or edit the invoices of the sales orders.

What version are you using?

The information in this document is applicable to product update 404 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.

How do I complete the sales order?

  1. In the Order / Reports / Sales orders screen, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Display.
  3. Select a sales order in the overview.
  4. Click Complete.

Keep in mind: The Complete button is enabled only if the selected sales order has not been completed, and available if the Sales order option at Group by under the General section in the Order / Reports / Sales orders screen has been selected. How do I view and/or edit the sales order?

  1. In the Order / Reports / Sales orders screen, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Display.
  3. Select a sales order in the overview.
  4. Click Zoom. For more information, see Creating and maintaining sales orders.

Keep in mind: The Zoom button is available only if you have selected the Warehouse, Debtor, Item, or Sales order date option at Group by in the Order / Reports / Sales orders screen. For more information, see Generating sales orders report.

How do I view and/or edit the note of the sales order?

  1. In the Order /Reports / Sales orders screen, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Display.
  3. Select a sales order in the overview.
  4. Click Note. For more information, see Creating and maintaining notes.

Keep in mind: The Note button is enabled only if a sales order with notes is selected.

How do I view the document attached to the sales order?

  1. In the Order / Reports / Sales orders screen, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Display.
  3. Select a sales order in the overview.
  4. Click Attachment. For more information, see Overview of attached documents.

Keep in mind: The Attachment button is enabled only if a sales order with attached documents is selected.

How do I export the sales order report to Microsoft Excel?

  1. In the Order / Reports / Sales orders screen, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Display.
  3. Click Export.

How do I view and/or edit the invoice of the sales order?

  1. In the Order / Reports / Sales orders screen, define the search criteria.
  2. Click Display.
  3. Select a sales order in the overview.
  4. Click Invoice. For more information, see Creating and maintaining sales invoices.

Keep in mind: The Invoice button is enabled only if a sales order that has been invoiced is selected.
