On this page, you can view a list of job groups as well as create and delete job groups. A job group defines the functional area of an organization that the person is working in.
All users can view the list of job groups. However, to create or modify job groups, function right 94 – Maintain job groups is required. By default, users with the HR role have this function right.
Note:
The information in this document is applicable to product update 256 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: All fields with the "!" icon are mandatory.
Keep in mind: You cannot delete a job group that is currently linked to a person.
Click this to exit.
Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.
Click this to create a job group. For more information, see Creating and modifying job groups.
Click this to delete the selected job groups.
Type a number to define the number of job groups to be displayed on a single page. Click Show to update the page size.
Select the check boxes to determine the job groups that you want to delete.
This column displays the job groups that are available in the system. You can click the hyperlink to view the corresponding job group. For more information, see Viewing job groups.
