This page allows you to create customer rates for a specific account or make changes to an existing one. A customer rate is the amount of money that is charged to your customers for services rendered by your consultants. Rates for customers can differ from one account to another, depending on factors such as complexity of projects or relationship with customers.
To create and modify customer rates, function right 1015 – Maintain rates at the Corporate level and the Project manager role is required. Users with the Project administration role have this function right.

Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon are mandatory.
Click this to save the details of the customer rate.
Click this to delete the customer rate.
Note: This is available only if you are modifying a customer rate.
Click this to exit.
Select Activity to create a customer rate for an activity or Material to create a customer rate for a material.
Note: This option is disabled in the edit mode.
Type or select an activity to be linked to the customer rate.
Note: This field will be displayed only if the Activity option is selected. This is mandatory.
Type or select a material to be linked to the customer rate.
Note: This field will be displayed only if the Material option is selected. This is mandatory.
Type or select a date range for the customer rate. This is mandatory.
Note: By default, the Start date field is defined with the creation date of the customer rate.
Select this option to define the sales price for the customer rate. Type or select the currency to be used for the sales price. In the next box, type a value to define the sales price for the customer rate.
Note: If there is no value defined at this field, then the default value will be "0.0000".
Besides defining the sales price, you can also define either one of the following options:
Markup % - Select this option to define the sales price based on the markup percentage of the cost price. Type a value to define the markup percentage for the customer rate.
Note: This field accepts values ranging from “-999.99” to “999.99”. If this option is selected, then the value at the Sales price field, if any, will be changed to "0.0000".
Select this option to define the cost price for the customer rate. Type or select the currency to be used for the cost price. In the next box, type a value to define the cost price for the customer rate.
Besides defining the cost price, you can also define the following option:
