Introduction
You can view the details of the currencies used in transactions by your company.

Roles & rights
All users can display the list of currencies. However to maintain the currencies, function right 33 – Maintain Currencies is required. By default, users with the General manager and Controller roles have this function right.
For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Button
Show
Click this to display the result according to the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Refresh
Click this to update the result according to the defined criteria.
Activate
Click this to activate the selected currency. This is available only if Inactive is selected at Status or if the option is left blank.
Import: XRate
Click this to import the daily exchange rates in CSV format. For more information, see Importing Daily Exchange Rates.
Note: The Activate and Import: XRate buttons will only be available if you have Function rights 33 – Maintain Currencies.
Close
Click this to exit.
Description
Criteria section
Status
Select the status of the currencies you want to display. You can choose from Active or Inactive. If the option is left blank, currencies with both statuses will be displayed.
Date
Type or select the date. Where applicable, the daily exchange rate will be displayed according to the date selected. For more information, see Creating and Modifying Daily Exchange Rates and Creating and Modifying Period Exchange Rates.
In the results section of the screen, the code, description, exchange rate, and status of the currency will be displayed. You can modify the currency by clicking the currency code. For more information, see Modifying Currency.
