Cost units can be selected when is clicked at Cost unit.
This document provides you the steps to selecting cost units.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Click this to search for cost units based on the defined criteria.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Click this to display the previous list of cost units.
Click this to display the next list of cost units.
Type the number of rows to be displayed for each screen. If you have set the default number of rows to “10”, then 10 rows will be displayed. Therefore, if you have more than 10 rows listed, you will see the Previous and Next buttons.
Select the required option to filter the search that starts with or contains a certain letter or word.
Type a full or partial cost unit code to search for a cost unit. The cost unit code is based on the Code defined at the cost unit maintenance (go to System ? Finance ? Cost centers/units ? Cost units, select the relevant cost unit and click Open).
Type a full or partial description to search for a cost unit that matches the description. The description is based on the Description defined at the cost unit maintenance (go to System ? Finance ? Cost centers/units ? Cost units, select the relevant cost unit and click Open).
Click this to select the cost unit that you want to use.
Note: This button is enabled only if a cost unit is selected.
Click this to view or modify the selected cost unit entry.
Click this to create a cost unit entry. For more information on how to create a cost unit entry, see Creating and modifying cost units.
Click this to view the search results in the format of a report. You can print the report by clicking Print in the Report screen.
Click this to exit.
