Introduction
On this page, you can view the production orders with the steps that are executed on the selected operation. This provides you real-time visibility of the statuses of the production orders and job operations. Only the following production orders are displayed in this overview:
- Production orders with at least the Released status, but not Completed.
- Production orders with steps that will execute on operations with the Open and Released statuses, but not Completed.
- Production orders with any operation, but not with the default operation (code "DFOP001").
Roles and rights
To access this page, the Shop floor control role is required. In addition to that, a few requirements need to be met in order to access the Shop floor control system. For more information, see the Roles and rights section in Logging in to Shop floor control via Exact Synergy Enterprise.

What version are you using?
The information in this document is based on product update 251.
How do I view the overview of operations?
- Log in to your Exact Synergy Enterprise. The Shop floor control page will be displayed.
- Clear the SFC Interface check box.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, you will see your database in Exact Synergy Enterprise user interface.
- From the top menu, click Production. The Entry tab will be displayed.
- Click Job operation overview. The Back office: Operation overview page will be displayed.
- Define the search criteria, and then click Show.
Keep in mind: To display the Production module at the top menu, click Preferences, and then click the Menu tab. In the Modules section, click Production, and then click 
. Finally, click Save.
How do I view the details of operations?
- Log in to your Exact Synergy Enterprise. The Shop floor control page will be displayed.
- Clear the SFC operator UI check box.
- Click Login. Once you have logged in, you will see your database in Exact Synergy Enterprise user interface.
- From the top menu, click Production, and then click Entry.
- Click Job operation overview. The Back office: Operation overview page will be displayed.
- Define the search criteria, and then click Show.
- Click the link hyperlink to view the details of the corresponding operation. The Operation details page will be displayed.
Keep in mind: To display the Production module at the top menu, click Preferences, and then click the Menu tab. In the Modules section, click Production, and then click . Finally, click Save.
Buttons
Show
Click this to display the results according to the defined criteria.
Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.
Refresh
Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.
Reset
Click this to clear all the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.
Customise
Click this to define the criteria and columns to be displayed on the Back office: Operation overview page.
Close
Click this to exit.
Fields
Division
Type or select the division code to display the operations belonging to the selected division.
Layout
Select Overview or List to display the operations in the overview or list layout.
Note: By default, Overview is selected. With this layout selected, only operations with the start date that is equal to the current date will be displayed.
Start date
Type or select a date or a date range to display the operations with the start date that is equal to the defined date(s). By default, the current date will be defined as the range.
Note: This is available only when List is selected at Layout.
Production order
Type or select the production order number to display the operations of the selected production order.
Operation
Select the operation to be displayed.
Step
Type a number to display the operations with the defined step.
Status
Select Open, Released, or Completed to display the operations with the selected status. To display operations with any status, leave the option empty.
Columns
Production order
This column displays the production order numbers. Only production orders with at least the Released status, but not Completed, are displayed.
Operation
This column displays the names of the operations. You can click the hyperlink to view the details of the respective operation. For more information, see Viewing details of operations in Exact Synergy Enterprise user interface.
Start date
This column displays the start dates of the operations.
Start time
This column displays the start times of the operations.
End date
This column displays the end dates of the operations.
End time
This column displays the end times of the operations.
Prev. step
This column displays the statuses of the previous steps of the operations.
Step
This column displays the step numbers of the production orders that will be executed on the selected operation.
Status
This column displays the statuses of the operations.
Description
This column displays the descriptions of the production orders.
link
Click this hyperlink to view the details of the operation linked to the selected production order.
