Introduction
With entity services, you are able to make use of the existing data by retrieving and manipulating the data available in the system with the various applications that support your business. This enables software developers to integrate multiple systems with Exact Globe Next, which reduces the repetitive data entry and updating process.
What version are you using?
The information in this document is based on product update 406 and higher. If you have versions lower than
this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
How do I view the details of all changes made to the settings for business entity services?

In the Settings column on the left side of the screen, click Connectivity settings.

Click Logbook, and then Close to exit.
How do I edit the settings for business entity services?

In the Settings column on the left side of the screen, click Connectivity settings.

Make the changes.
-
Click Save, and then Close to exit.
Fields
Authorization section
Administrator only
Select this check box to enable the security feature, whereby only the administrator of Exact Globe Next is able to access the business entities.
Note:
-
By default, the security feature is disabled, which means all users are able to access the business entities.

Only the administrator of Exact Globe Next has the right to enable or disable this security feature.
Entity services: Activate section
Person, Item, Document, Project, Account, Binary, FinancialHeader, FinancialLine, FinancialPaymentTerm, FinancialBankStatement, et al
Select the required check box(es) to activate the business entity service(s).
Note: By default, all check boxes are selected.
Buttons
Logbook
Click this to view all the information of the changes you have made in the settings.
Save
Click this to save all the changes you have made in Connectivity settings.
Close
Click this to exit.
