It is possible to define your preferred settings for item-related data used in the administration. Among the functions you can perform here are classifying your assortments and defining the default working day and public holiday items used in resource planning.
The information in this document is applicable to product update 407 and higher. If you have versions lower than this, certain features explained here will not be applicable.
Keep in mind: All fields with the “!” icon are mandatory.
Type the names of the item assortments in Assortment 1–10 if your items are classified in various assortments. Click Maintain: Properties to maintain the assortment. You can add, edit, or delete the items under the assortment. If an assortment has items in the group, you will see a green check mark next to it. For more information on maintaining item assortments, see Creating and maintaining assortments.
Type or select the default working day item which is used to generate the resource planning. You can create the item(s) at HR ? Planning ? Hours, Payroll ? Components ? Hours, Projects ? Items ? Hours, Manufacturing ? Planning ? Hours, or Service ? Items ? Hours.
Type or select the default official public holiday item that is used in the Material Resource Planning (MRP) calculation. With this, you can plan for resource activities even during public holidays.

Click this to save all the changes you have made in Item data settings.
Click this to exit.
