Note: The menu paths for the location transfer function are available only if you have selected the Warehouse locations check box under the Fulfillment section in Inventory settings.
In this screen, you can transfer items from one warehouse location to another, including items with reserved serial or batch numbers.
Note: Serial or batch numbers for items are assigned in various orders and requests. The serial or batch numbers are recognized as reserved if the orders or requests are not fulfilled, and the status of the orders or requests are opened, authorized, or printed but not rejected or completed.
A warehouse can have multiple warehouse locations, such as sections or shelves. When you move stocks from one location to another location within a warehouse, the process is called a location transfer. The location transfer function is available only if you have selected the Warehouse locations check box in the Fulfillment section in Inventory settings. For more information, see Inventory settings.
You can select the items that you want to transfer by defining the project linked to the item. A list of options will be displayed if you click at Project. From the list, select an option and click Select.

Note: If you select the Check stock check box under the Fulfillment section in Order settings and the Warehouse locations check box under the Fulfillment section in Inventory settings, the system will check the location transfer quantity based on the available stock quantity (in the Stock column) for the respective warehouse location. If the location transfer quantity entered in the Move column is more than the available stock quantity, you will see the message "Invalid: Total quantity Must be less than or equal to: 10", where 10 is the physical stock per warehouse location.
