This page allows you to create different types of accounts, namely company accounts and person accounts. However, creating accounts will depend on the account settings at Customers à Setup à Other à Settings. If the Type: Select check box under the Accounts section is selected, users can create any type of accounts such as prospect, customer, associate, and other accounts. Otherwise, users can only create not validated accounts.
To view, create, and modify person accounts, the Activate: Persons check box under the Persons section on the Accounts: Settings page has to be selected. For more information, see Defining account settings, Viewing person account cards, and Creating and modifying person accounts.

Select the required account type to create the relevant company account type. For more information, see Defining account settings, Viewing company account cards, Creating and modifying company accounts, and Creating multiple accounts.

Click a document link to view the policy document that is related to the creation of the account type. This is a link to a previously created document that was uploaded for the purpose of informing users of the policies concerning the creation of the account type. The policy document can then be applied to the particular account type on the Accounts: Settings page, at Customers à Setup à Other à Settings, under the Policy section.
Click this to upload a vCard. A vCard is a file that contains information about a contact and is usually used in e-mail programs.
Note: This is only available at Customers à Entry à Entry à Account.
